PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shifting mechanism which hardly gives rise to complication of a configuration, even when a projection lens unit is shifted vertically and to the right and left, and which facilitates shift operation. SOLUTION: The lens shifting mechanism which shifts the projection lens unit 115 for projecting videos in a direction of orthogonally intersecting with the optical axis thereof comprises a lens-mounting member 2 which is fixed with the projection lens unit 115, a contact surface part 3 with which the lens mount member 2 comes into contact, a pressing means 6 which constitutes the contact part of the lens-mounting member 2 coming into contact with the contact surface part 3 of a sliding member and presses the lens-mounting member 115 toward the contact surface part 3, and a member whose actuating piece on one side is engaged with the lens mount member 2 and whose lever 11C on the other side is coupled to a screw mechanism 16 for driving a lever. The mechanism is operated by the screw mechanism 16 for driving the lever so that the position movement of the projection lens unit 115 can be performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
