PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in the manufacture of a cured product requiring high transparency in the visible light, especially in the manufacture of optical components, a curing method which does not cause the yellowing problem even if a photocationically curable composition is used, and a manufacturing method of the cured product. SOLUTION: The curing method comprises irradiating the undermentioned ultra-violet light on a photocationically curable composition containing a photocationically curable compound and a photocationic polymerization initiator. The manufacturing method of the cured product and the manufacturing method of the optical components by this method are provided. The above ultra-violet light is the one in which the illuminance of the light of the wavelength that shows the highest illuminance in the region of wavelengths of 200-320 nm is≤0.3 times of the illuminance of the light of the wavelength that shows the highest illuminance in the region of wavelengths of >320 nm to 370 nm.
