<p>The vehicle body (1) represents a first mass, supported by a helical spring (3) joined with its lower end to the wheel (5). A second mass is the wheel (5) attached to the wheel hub and fitted with a vibration absorbing tire. The body (1) performs a movement in relation to the road surface (9) while the wheel (5) is moved in a complimentary way. The characteristic value of absorption can be determined from the summed up vibration energy of the two masses.</p> |
