PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the cross-sectional image data in the arbitrary direction of a specimen on the basis of more reduced operation quantity without deteriorating image quality. SOLUTION: In a step S32, the pixel effective range of projection image data is extracted and, in a step S33, filtering processing is performed only with respect to the pixel belonging to the pixel effective range. In a step S34, a reconstitution possible region is calculated on the basis of a photographing condition and, in a step S35, a common region, where the reconstitution possible region and volume data are overlapped with each other, is calculated and a calculation range table showing the range in the z-direction of the common region is formed. In a step S36, reconstitution processing for calculating boxer is carried out only with respect to the range in the z-direction shown by the calculation range table in the volume data.
