PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module which can be reduced in size and achieve high focusing accuracy. SOLUTION: A camera module includes a lens 11, an optical tube 12 for supporting the lens 11, an image sensor chip 2 for outputting image signals based on the light coming via the lens 11, and a wiring board 5 including a window. The optical tube 12 is attached to the image sensor chip 2, and the image sensor chip 2 is electrically connected with the wiring board 5, in a state of the optical tube 12 being inserted into the window of the wiring board 5.
