<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact evaporating reactor for efficiently decomposing and evaporating sewage, and to provide an apparatus for purifying and regenerating the sewage, by using an aerator and the evaporating reactor. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for purifying and regenerating the sewage which treats the sewage with the aerator and the evaporating reactor includes an introduction part for introducing treated water from the aerator into the lower part of the evaporating reactor, an air diffuser pipe located at the bottom part of the evaporating reactor, a microbial treatment part for biochemically treating the sewage located at the center part of the evaporating reactor, and a fine structure a part of which is immersed in the treated water and also covering roughly the entire surface of the treated water.
