HAMMERING PREVENTING MECHANISM FOR TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hammering preventing mechanism for a transmission device for preventing hammering in an area where teeth engage with each other while preventing power loss due to sliding operation. SOLUTION: The hammering preventing mechanism is provided for the transmission device which has rotating members 9 arranged opposing each other in part 3 of a casing in the axial direction for transmitting torque with the teeth engaging with each other. The rotating members 9 are held to be longitudinally movable close to or apart from the part 3 of the casing in the axial direction. An elastic mechanism 20 thrusts the rotating members 9 to frictionally contact the part 3 of the casing, and a torque sensing mechanism moves the rotating members to be apart from the part 3 of the casing with torque on the rotating members 9.
