PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backflow prevention structure which prevents the backflow of blood reliably and quickly and a transfer of blood from a blood collection tube to a blood vessel in a blood collection device such as a blood collection needle and a blood collection holder. SOLUTION: The backflow prevention structure includes a flow passage 5 extending from a first end part 2a to a second end part 2b in a hub 2 as a cylindrical body, and a second hollow needle 4 and a valve member 6 movably connected to the hub 2 in the direction for connecting the first and second end parts. The valve member 6 is fixed to a base part 4b of the second hollow needle 4 and has an inside flow passage 7 communicating with the second hollow needle 4 on the inside. The inside flow passage 7 has an opening 7a opened on the side surface of the valve member 6, always remains in a first state that the inside flow passage 7 is cut off from the flow passage 5 by force applied by a coil spring 8 as a biasing means, and can be in a second state that the inside flow passage 7 communicates with the flow passage 5 by pressing the coil spring 8 against the biasing force of the coil spring 8 as the biasing means.
