PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type meter capable of preventing appearance degradation caused by deviation from a return-to-zero position of the pointer. SOLUTION: A cover 22 for covering the pointer 13 on the return-to-zero position is provided, to thereby hide deviation from the return-to-zero position of the pointer 13. Since the cover for hiding the deviation from the return-to-zero position of the pointer is provided, even if the deviation from the return-to-zero position of the pointer occurs as before, a sense of incongruity on the appearance caused by the deviation from the return-to-zero position of the pointer can be mitigated.
