SOLUTION: The exercise support system for supporting the exercise of the exercise supported person 21 has the exercise support terminal device 11 for detecting the body motion of the exercise supported person 21, transmitting detected motion information and receiving support information to inform the exercise supported person, and the exercise support server 13 for detecting the exercising state of the exercise supported person based on the motion information transmitted from the exercise support terminal device 11 and preparing support information for optimizing the motion of the exercise supported person based on the detected exercising state of the exercise supported person.
