PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental ball whose printed part is covered with transparent resin, which looks as if it stands out markedly by the lens effect of a transparent resin part, which is easy to manufacture, and which is very attractive. SOLUTION: The ornamental ball is provided with: a main body which is cylindrical or prismatic and has a core part having a desired pattern printed on its peripheral surface; and a printing protection part which is formed by injection molding of the transparent resin to surround the core part, whose outer edge part coincides with that of the main body, and which has a projecting surface part at a part opposing the printed surface of the core part.
