<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge which can improve the space efficiency of a toner cartridge, increase the latitude of designing, and enable optimization design relating to the operational torque or distance on opening/closing a shutter. <P>SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 1 comprises: a container 11 having an arc portion 11g and a rectangular portion 11h in the cross section to store toner; a toner opening 11a formed in the container; a shutter 16 installed to open/close the toner opening; and a handle 15a having an engaging portion 15a operably linked to one end of the container and transmitting driving force by the operation. When the toner cartridge 1 is mounted in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, it is engaged with a drive transmission member 21 provided in the apparatus to constitute a drive transmission path from the handle 15 to the shutter 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
