PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system by which resources are reduced with a WORM (Write Once Read Many) function achieving. SOLUTION: A controller 110 acquires information on a logical unit being writing of interest from a storage section 140 when a writing request is raised from a computer 300, and transmits write disable to the computer 300 when the logical unit is set to the write disable. An interface 200 refers to meta-information stored on a disk device 130 and then acquires the list of files not accessed for a specified period of time, and keeps the logical unit capable of storing the files included in the acquired list of the files. The controller 110 asks the logical unit to store the files included in the list of the files and sets the logical unit storing the files to the write disable for information stored on the storage section 140.
