PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite resin containing a large amount of an inorganic filler mixed thereinto, having mechanical characteristics, such as surface hardness and durability against abrasion caused by occlusion in an oral cavity, and beutifulness of a cured material, such as transparency, luster, and surface smoothness, comparable to that of a natural tooth, and capable of being utilizable for a repairing material of a defective part of a tooth, such as a filling material, a hard resin, a crown, and an artificial tooth. SOLUTION: This composite resin comprises a polymerizable monomer, spherical inorganic oxide particles having a particle diameter of 2 to 5μm and a standard deviation value of particle size distribution of≤1.5, and spherical inorganic oxide particles having a particle diameter of less than 1μm, an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5μm, and a standard deviation value of particle size distribution of≥2.0.
