PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tire condition monitoring device from not receiving electric waves transmitted from a transmitter/receiver of a traveling tire with a vehicle side transmitter/receiver due to electric waves transmitted from a transmitter/receiver of a spare tire. SOLUTION: This tire condition monitoring device comprises vehicle side transmitters/receivers 21-24 arranged on a vehicle side, sensor parts arranged to tires 1-5 and detecting a tire condition, and tire side transmitters/receivers 11-15 transmitting information on the tire condition to the vehicle side transmitters/receivers 21-24 as electric waves. The tire side transmitters/receivers 11-15 transmit the information on the tire condition when they receive request signals from the vehicle side transmitters/receivers 21-24. Also, when they receive signals requesting for stopping transmission including an identification number of the tire side transmitter/receiver 15 of the spare tire 5 from the vehicle side transmitters/receivers 21-24, if the identification number is identical to its own identification number, transmission of the information on the tire condition is stopped.
