<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device, in which excellent sealing performance to muddy water and dust can be secured for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device is provided between an outer circumferential member 111 and an inner circumferential member 112 disposed to be concentric with and relatively rotatable to each other. It is provided with an installation ring 1 tightly engaged with an inner circumferential surface of the outer circumferential member 111, a main lip 22 and inner circumferential subsidiary lip 23 on the inner circumferential side of it integrally provided with the installation ring 1, and comprising rubber-like elastic material, and a slide ring 3 tightly engaged with an outer circumferential surface of the inner circumferential member 112 to be slidable to the main lip 22. The inner circumferential subsidiary lip 23 is positioned on the outer side of the main lip 22 in tight contact to be slidable to the outer circumferential surface of the inner circumferential member 112, and an inner circumferential labyrinth gap Lr<SB>1</SB>is formed between the inner circumferential subsidiary lip 23 and the slide ring 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
