<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the readability of characters in a background which has been colored. <P>SOLUTION: Data representing an image, including at least characters, and a colored background are inputted and a setting screen for making a user set whether the characters included in the image are emphasized is displayed on a display device; when setting for emphasis of the characters is inputted in the setting screen, the inputted data representing the image are processed and converted into printed data of a printer, and are outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
