<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary printing press which simplifies an operation mode, which shortens a time before an operating speed is reached, and which enhances productivity. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary printing press is equipped with a plurality of printing machines, a folding machine, a plurality of motors which drive each of the printing machines and the folding machine, and a controller which controls the printing machines, folding machine and the plurality of motors. Characteristically, the controller performs control in accordance with a phase of the folding machine by increasing or decreasing the number of revolutions of the motor of the printing machine on the basis of the motor of the folding machine, during a time from the start of the operation of the rotary press to an arrival at a predetermined printing speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
