CLEANING DEVICE AND AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device having great deodorizing effects while suppressing the occurrence of mold and fungi without increasing ventilating resistance. SOLUTION: The cleaning device comprises a light generating unit 14 arranged on the upstream side of a heat exchanger 11 built in an indoor unit 10 for irradiating the heat exchanger 11 with visible light or ultraviolet ray and a crosswise drive mechanism 15 for reciprocating the light generating unit 14. The light generating unit is moved to irradiate a whole region of the heat exchanger 11 with the light of a less number of lamps, providing reliable deodorizing effects while suppressing the occurrence of mold and fungi.
