<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording sheet which combines glossiness, ink absorbency, printing density, image uniformity (roundness of an image) and strength of an ink absorbing layer, which enhances handleability of a coating liquid, and which gives consideration to the environment. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording sheet, an ink-absorbing lower layer and an ink-absorbing upper layer are sequentially provided on at least one surface on a substrate. The inkjet recording sheet is characterized as follows: both of the ink-absorbing lower layer and the ink-absorbing upper layer, which are thickened or gelled, comprise a pigment and a temperature-sensitive gelled substance which changes viscosity by making a temperature-sensitive point serve as a boundary; and an average secondary particle diameter of the pigment included in the ink-absorbing upper layer is smaller than that of the pigment included in the ink-absorbing lower layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
