PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently collecting the remaining blood in a leukocyte filter after filtering the leukocytes out of the blood. SOLUTION: The method for collecting the remaining blood in the leukocyte filter for an extracorporeal circulation filled with a leukocyte filter material by using a physiological solution comprises the inflow of the physiological solution from a lower side in the direction of gravity of the leukocyte filter and the collection of the blood from an upper side in the direction of gravity of the leukocyte filter.
