PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet processing apparatus capable of reducing a processing amount required for communication control so as to be conducive to the improvement of a communication speed and reduction in a circuit scale.

SOLUTION: Queues 1101to 110Nbstore packet information being information with respect to packet data of a storage section 140, a control section 120 selects packet information stored in one of queues and outputs the selected information to a packet processing section 130, and the packet processing section 130 applies prescribed processing to packet data in the storage section 140 particularized by the received packet information and updates original packet data in the storage section 140 with the packet data after the processing.
