<p>A fence wire spacer (10) or post for use with a wire fence (12). A shaft (24) has at least one longitudinally extending face and defines a longitudinal channel (26). A series of slots (28) are located spatially apart along the length of the face, each said slot (28) intersecting said channel (26) and configured to locate a wire strand N(18) from said fence (12) extending internally through said shaft (24), there being a gap between the face and the wire strand (18) in the channel. A locking member (30) is inserted into that gap and typically with a cam effect locks the wire strand (18) in place.</p> |
