PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder protector capable of preventing collision between a cylinder protection cover and a cylinder or a cylinder guide due to vibration caused during construction work. SOLUTION: A cylinder rod and the cylinder are protected by fixing one end of a cylinder rod head and extending another end in a longitudinal direction of the cylinder. The cylinder protector comprises the cylinder protection cover capable of moving by expanding and contracting the cylinder rod, the cylinder guide installed to an outer face of the cylinder for guiding the movement of the cylinder protection cover, and an impact absorber installed toan inner side of the cylinder protection cover having a shape corresponding to that of the cylinder guide so as to make a contact surface with one face of the cylinder guide.
