<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a disk array system side to grasp the connection environment of a storage area network (SAN). <P>SOLUTION: In this disk array system, by a DB 4 for HBA (host bus adapter) information management for acquiring connection information 12 among a server device 1, an FC (fiber channel) switch device 3, and a storage device 5 via the FC switch device 3, combining the connection information 12, and managing the connection information 12, respective pieces of connection information 12 among the server device 1, the FC switch device, and the storage device 5 can be combined and acquired.
