PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle structure for a drawer or door, which has a towel hanger function, good operability, and featured design, and to provide a drawer or housing case using the handle structure. SOLUTION: The handle structure for a drawer or door is used for composing a handle at a front panel of the drawer or an openable/closable door of the furniture. The drawn direction side of the front panel 20 of the drawer (or the door of the furniture) integrally includes: a handle portion 1 extending from side to side in the width direction of the front panel 20; connecting portions 3 extending from both ends of the handle portion 1 to the front panel 20 side and forming a gap required for gripping the handle portion 1 between the front panel 20 and the handle portion 1; and side edge portions 2 extending along the side ends of the front panel 20, turned from the ends of the connecting portions 3, and formed on the side ends of the front panel so as to cover the side ends.
