PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture container in whose incubator a space can efficiently be utilized to increase the number of bacterial cells capable of being once cultured. SOLUTION: This culture container 1 in whose container body 3 capable of storing a culture medium A a plurality of culture surfaces 3a, 5a and 6a are vertically disposed at distances. Thereby, the inner space of the culture container 1 in the vertical direction can be utilized to increase the culture area without increasing the bottom area of each culture container 1, and the inner space of the incubator can effectively be utilized.
