PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded hose with improved inserting properties of a curved mandrel by using a small amount of a releasing agent. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the molded hose comprises the steps of coating the inner face of an unvulcanized rubber hose having an EPDM single layer or a structure consisting of EPDM inner and outer layers and an intermediate reinforced layer and compounded with a peroxide vulcanizing agent with a foamed releasing agent foamed by introducing nitrogen gas and comprising a nonionic surfactant, then, mounting this on the curved mandrel, vulcanizing it under a condition of a saturated vapor pressure of 0.52 MPa×30 min, and then, removing it. By this method, an inserting load and a pulling-out load of the mandrel are remarkably decreased, and the inserting properties of the curved mandrel are improved by using a small amount of the releasing agent, and furthermore, the performance of a product such as pressure resistance and durability is improved.
