PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt adjusting circuit of an optical disk recording and reproducing apparatus capable of recording a signal on a disk by an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The tilt adjusting circuit is constituted of a tracking servo circuit 11 performing tracking servo operation based on a tracking error signal generated from a signal obtained from a photodetector 5 assembled in the optical pickup 3, a bandpass filter circuit 15 into which a tracking control signal outputted from the tracking servo circuit 11 is inputted and which extracts a signal corresponding to the rotation period of the disk 1, a tilt signal adjusting circuit 19 adjusting the level of the signal extracted by the bandpass filter circuit 15 and an offset adjusting circuit 20 outputting an offset signal for correcting deviation of an angle between a disk surface and an object lens when the optical pickup is assembled in the optical disk recording and reproducing apparatus.
