The invention relates to the machine building and can be used in the devices for crushing of materials in mining, construction, and in other branches of industry. A hammer of the crusher is made in the form of a plate with the openings for fastening thereof and is equipped with wear-resistant elements. The elements are located along the angles of the plate from two sides of its flat surface, the elements themselves having a form of cones, axes of which are perpendicular to the side of the plate. The apexes of opposite cones are counter directed to each other, and the bases protrude above the surface of the plate.
