The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the method for manufacturing orthesis for the lower limb. According top the invention, the splints with the knee-joint and ankle-joint hinges as well as semicircles are attached to the positive pattern of the limb. Then, on the surface of the positive pattern of the limb with attached splints and semicircles, the workpiece of the orthesis bucket is made of thermoplastic material in vacuum. Upon the preliminary cut of the workpiece, the splints are installed into the corresponding internal cradles, the openings for the splint attachments are marked and drilled, the outlines for the buckets of the hip, the shin, and the foot are marked, the buckets of the orthesis are cut and treated, the splints are attached to the internal surfaces of the buckets in the cradles, and are pasted with the cosmetic bands.
