PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem in an air heater 1 where a combustion gas from a gas burner 2 and the air are mixed by operating a blower fan 3 to send the warm air into a room, and a small fan 5 is mounted independently from the warm air blower fan 3 to send, for example, the air including ions from a blowout port 12, that the clogging of a filter 14 can not be accurately detected because of the change of detection temperature of a temperature sensor 7 as the air flow in a device is changed when the small fan 5 is operated, though the clogging can be detected, as the detection temperature of the temperature sensor 7 is increased when the clogging of a filter 14 occurs in such a state that the blower fan is operated to send the warm air. SOLUTION: A reference temperature for determining the occurrence of clogging is changed between operation and non-operation of the small fan 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
