<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of increasing the visibility of objects when displaying the appearance of a virtual three-dimensional space. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus, which displays an image showing a state of a water-droplet object 42 or the like seen from a visual point 54 in the virtual three-dimensional space 50 where the water-droplet object 42 and the visual point 54 are positioned, includes a distance data calculation means for calculating distance data about the water-droplet object 42 and the visual point 54; a travel state determining means for determining the distance traveled by the water-droplet object 42 or its travel speed in the virtual three-dimensional space 50 on the basis of the distance data; an object moving means for moving the water-droplet object 42 on the basis of the determined distance traveled or travel speed; and an image display means for displaying an image showing the state of the water-droplet object 42 seen moving in the virtual three-dimensional space 50 from the visual point 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
