<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity rate reporting method and a reporting system which gives a customer an incentive to economical power consumption to effectively realize efficient operation and unnecessary suppression of power generation equipment and contribute to energy saving in the entire nation as a result. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of informing a power customer of electricity rate relevant information constituted including an electricity rate, a storage means 21 stores customer information relating to the power customer and supply power information relating to power supplied by supply equipment of an electric company, in a database. A report information generation means 23 generates electricity rate relevant information including the electricity rate, including customer information or supply power information read out from the database.
