PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn splicing device for performing the yarn splicing with ends of two yarns to be spliced arranged in the same direction which is capable of reducing a joint part to be yarn-spliced during the continuous yarn splicing, adjusting the joint length, and uniformly and reliably forming the joint part, and a handy type splicer. SOLUTION: In the yarn splicing device for performing the yarn splicing with ends eo of two yarns Ya, Yb to be yarn-spliced arranged in the same direction, the end of each yarn is continuously twisted/untwisted by one air spray nozzle 2.
