PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand-separating washing apparatus separating efficiently foreign matter contained in settled sand sucked from a sand basin with e.g. a pump, emitting less odor, treating foreign matter hygienically and permitting the separation of sand alone. SOLUTION: The apparatus A comprises a sand-separating washing vessel 1 equipped with a stirring washing means 2 for sand and a sand-carrying means 3 circulating or carrying sand selectively and a washing water supplying means equipped with a pump 5 supplying washing water, together with the sand carried by the sand-carrying means 3, to the stirring washing means 2.
