PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file management system, method and program capable of reducing a retrieval time or retrieval load by enabling not only a person who executed retrieval but also other users to freely use retrieval results of files. SOLUTION: A result of retrieval in a predetermined condition by a retrieval part 102 is converted to a reference by a conversion part 106, and the converted reference is stored in a storage part 103 through a management part 104. In case of reusing the retrieval result stored in the storage part 103, a reuse request of retrieval result is accepted by a request acceptance part 101, and a reference satisfying the reuse request is acquired from the storage part 103 and displayed on a display part 105.
