PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell with a lead terminal which has a small occupied area on a mounting substrate, is easily mounted and is highly reliable. SOLUTION: One lead terminal A set in a cell face at the side wherein it is disposed facing a circuit substrate surface in mounting on a circuit substrate is smaller than a quadrangle wherein an outer circumference of the electrochemical cell is inscribed in an almost inner side thereof. The other lead terminal B which is set in a cell face disposed in the opposite side of the circuit substrate surface is disposed in an almost diagonal line direction of the inscribed quadrangle, and its connection to the circuit substrate is positioned in a corner of the inscribed quadrangle or its similar enlarged quadrangle, and is shaped to be a rectangular isosceles triangle with a vertical base to the diagonal line or to be housed therein. Consequently, the effectively occupied setting area of the electrochemical cell with a lead terminal occupied on a substrate is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
