<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner less expensive than conventional ones and capable of being realized as a manual air conditioner, comprising a clutch-less variable displacement swash plate compressor directly connected to a vehicular engine without involving a clutch, a condenser, a pressure reducing device, and an evaporator. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular air conditioner comprises the variable displacement swash plate compressor directly connected to the vehicular engine without involving a clutch, the condenser, the pressure reducing device, and the evaporator. The air conditioner is equipped with a switching means for switching the discharging capacity of the variable displacement swash plate compressor between the maximum capacity and the minimum capacity, a first control means for outputting a control signal of making the discharging capacity of the variable displacement swash plate compressor minimum to the switching means at non-operating time of the vehicular air conditioner, and a second control means for outputting the control signal of making the discharging capacity of the compressor minimum to the switching means if temperature of air at an evaporator outlet is not higher than a first setting value and for outputting a control signal of making the discharging capacity of the compressor maximum to the switching means if the temperature of the air at the evaporator outlet is not lower than a second setting value at operating time of the vehicular air conditioner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
