<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver, a mobile communication terminal and a communication system which reduce the power consumption and improve the receiving performance, even if the receiving environment changes. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver 10 incorporated in a mobile communication terminal constituting a communication system comprises a reception quality threshold setting unit 25 for outputting a threshold used for decision of the reception quality to a reception quality decider 18 upon input of a decode decision signal outputted from an error correction decoder 24. The reception quality threshold setting unit 25 may adjust (vary or correct) the threshold, based on an error correction decode result outputted from the error correction decoder 24. Based on the adjusted threshold, the reception quality decider 18 decides the reception quality, and a controller 19 controls the operation of an equalizer 22 or an equalizing/decoding processor 20, based on the decision result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
