PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of aβ-ketoester structure-containing organosilicon compound where a reaction initiates and proceeds always stably in each production, gives a small amount of by-products and attains a high yield. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of theβ-ketoester structure-containing organosilicon compound represented by general formula (3) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and n are the same as below) comprises reacting an unsaturated group-containingβ-ketoester compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-6C alkyl group or a phenyl group) with a hydroalkoxysilane represented by general formula (2): HSiR<SP>2</SP><SB>n</SB>(OR<SP>3</SP>)<SB>3-n</SB>(wherein R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are the same or different and are each a 1-6C alkyl group; and n is an integer of 0-2), where a platinum-vinylsiloxane complex is used as a catalyst.
