<p>A cushion material, wherein a surface layer material comprising two front and rear layers of knitted fabrics and connection yarns connecting the two layers of knitted fabrics to each other in a columnar shape or cornerwise is disposed on a base material with which the wire material of an irregularly bent thermoplastic resin is brought into contact and fused. The base material comprises the surface layers having a specified bulk density and a specified elastically deformed amount and an inner layer held between the surface layers and having a bulk density smaller than that of the surface layers and an elastically deformed amount larger than that of the surface layers, and has a cushioning property by which the base material is elastically deformed when a load is applied thereto. Also, the surface layer material has a cushioning property softer than that of the base material by which, when a load is applied thereto, the connection yarns are elastically curved and deformed. Thus, the cushion material having excellent cushioning property and permeability and washable can be provided.</p> |
