PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container and a packaging container device for a bulb which container and device make the bulb visible from the outside, and offer fine workability in packaging and high buffering performance. SOLUTION: The packaging container comprises a bottomed cylindrical container body 3 capable of housing the bulb 2, which container body 3 includes a trunk which has buffering irregularities integrally formed around the outer side face of the trunk that is axially perpendicular to a light-emitting part 2a, which is a light-emitting tube or an envelope of the bulb 2, and a bottom 3b formed integrally on one end of the trunk which bottom 3b has a fitting recession 6, into which a mouth piece of the bulb 2 is fitted removably, and a mouth piece support 6 supporting the bulb 2 at the axis of the trunk. The packaging container also includes a lid which is attached removably on the other end of the container body and forms a press part 4b that so presses the top of the light-emitting part 2a of the bulb 2 toward the bottom 3b in a buffering manner as to keep the top almost concentric with the container body 3.
