PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and light portable balloon umbrella using a balloon with a new idea and amusingness, which can be used as a sunshade parasol and fully prepared for the sprinkle of rain without using metallic ribs or a metal rod which are necessary for the umbrella. SOLUTION: A ring shape balloon (8) is fixed by attachment onto the external rear surface of an oiled-paper umbrella shape, i.e., conical, fabric or vinyl (1). A ring (7) at the tip end of a bar shape balloon (2) is put through the ring (6) of a string which is fitted to the center of the rear side of the umbrella. Then the bar shape balloon is inserted to the ring (7) from the lower part so as to fix the rod (2) to the umbrella (1). A ring (4) at the center part of the string (3) for stabilizing the umbrella and the rod is arranged at the proper position of the bar shape balloon (2). The ring shape balloon (8) and the balloon of the rod (2) are fully filled with air from an injection hole (10), so that the fully filled balloon umbrella is completed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
