METHOD FOR LIQUEFYING SOLID CARBON DIOXIDE

Solid CO2 (22) is held in a chamber (21). Sublimated CO2 in a space (24) is discharged through channels (25), compressed by a compressor (26) and fed into a heat exchanger (30) supported on the solid CO2 (22). CO2 gas flowing through the heat exchanger (30) is cooled and liquefied by means of a heat exchange with the solid CO2 (22), which is thus sublimated. The liquid CO2 discharged from the exchanger (30) is stored in a tank (34) before being injected into an underground tank.
