PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky rice transplanter coping with a relatively small number of planting rows, designed to improve the stability of the machine body in advancing straight and turning. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter is provided, by being equipped with right and left front wheels 1 steeringly operable left and right and equipped with right and left rear wheels 2, wherein the machine body is supported on these front wheels 1 and rear wheels 2, a seedling planting apparatus 4 equipped with planting mechanisms 19 coping with a plurality of planting rows is supported on the rear portion of the machine body, and the front wheels 1 and rear wheels 2 are situated outside of the planting positions for all of the planting mechanisms 19.
