PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the useful life of an implant by enhancing alignment and/or stability of a prosthetic apparatus. SOLUTION: This modular implant includes a first orthopaedic component such as a tibial component 20; a second orthopaedic component such as a bearing 30 coupled to the first orthopaedic component; and a micro-motion damper 130, 140, 150 or 160 engaged with the first orthopaedic component and second orthopaedic component.
