PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a terminal fitting inserted next from slipping off. SOLUTION: A cavity 21 into which a female terminal fitting 10 can be inserted is provided in a housing 20. A hole part 23 opened to outside is provided on a sidewall 21a of the cavity 21. A lance 24 which can be locked to the female terminal fitting 10A inserted first is projected from a back edge part 23a of the hole part 23. The lance 24 is removed from the hole part 23 when removing the female terminal fitting 10A inserted first. A locking member 30 which can be locked to the female terminal fitting 10B inserted next can be pressed into the hole part 23 which becomes a void space since the lance 24 is removed.
