<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow meter 1 for reducing measurement error as a result of intake air pulsation. <P>SOLUTION: A body 3 for measurement is provided with a sub-outlet 10 between a U-turn part of a bypass route 6 and a main outlet 9. The sub-outlet 10 comprises a first sub-outlet 10a positioned on a route of air flowing through the bypass route 6 to the inside thereof and a second sub-outlet 10b positioned on a route of air flowing through the bypass route 6 to the outside thereof, these sub-outlets respectively opening in a side wall surface in the thickness direction of the body 3 for measurement. However, the first and second sub-outlets 10a and 10b are provided in different positions in the flowing direction of the measured air. The above structure makes it possible to adjust the substantial length of the bypass route 6 according to the positions of the first and second sub-outlets 10a and 10b, and to enhance correction accuracy for the intake air pulsation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
