PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency amplifier which is made with a layout structure in which unwanted feedback coupling is not performed inside the high-frequency amplifier, and which suppresses the generation of abnormal oscillations to perform stable amplifying operations. SOLUTION: The high-frequency amplifier includes a first high-frequency amplifying circuit 1, arranged and formed on a circuit substrate 10 and having a first semiconductor amplifying element; a second high-frequency amplifying circuit 2 having a second semiconductor amplifying element; a connecting part 4 for connecting the first high-frequency amplifying circuit 1 and the second high-frequency amplifying circuit 2 by a conducting band; and a shielding housing 6 for shielding the first high-frequency amplifying circuit 1, the connection part 4, and the second high-frequency amplifying circuit 2. Sidewalls 6 (1), 6 (2), at which the shielding housing 6 is disposed opposite, have width narrowed parts 7 (1), 7 (2), 8 (1), and 8 (2), in which an internal gap of 4 to 5 mm are formed.
